Our standards

Every piece of content on MomsHacks is held to these standards: it must be practical (actionable, not theoretical), specific (concrete steps, not vague advice), honest (including limitations and trade-offs), and current (regularly reviewed and updated).

Content creation process

  1. Research — Topics are selected based on reader needs and real-world relevance. Sources include published studies, expert interviews, and first-hand experience.
  2. Writing — Articles are drafted by credited authors with expertise in the topic area.
  3. Review — Content is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to our editorial standards before publication.
  4. Publication — Articles are published with clear author attribution, publication date, and category classification.

Author attribution

Every article on MomsHacks is published under a named author. Author profiles include their background, expertise, and credentials. See our About page for the full editorial team.

Experience-led content

Our content is grounded in real-world experience. Authors write about topics they have direct knowledge of — whether that's managing family routines, meal planning on a budget, or organising a household.

Updates and corrections

We regularly review published articles for accuracy. When updates are made, the article displays an “Updated” date. If you spot an error, please contact us at [email protected] and we will review and correct it promptly.

Commercial relationships

MomsHacks earns revenue through affiliate links (including Amazon Associates) and display advertising (Google AdSense). These commercial relationships are disclosed in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Independence

Our editorial decisions are independent of our commercial partnerships. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over what we write, how we rate products, or which topics we cover.
